We all want to live healthy and active lives. As we age, however, our No. 1 enemy is inflammation. We call it InflammAGING when the body’s natural ability to heal is blocked by a buildup of toxins and proteins on the nerve endings. Once inflammation is reduced, normal blood flow, joint movement and organ function are restored and pain is alleviated. Our skin is also barometer of good health when inflammation is reduced. The result is hydrated skin that’s smoother and more radiant. (And, who doesn’t want that?)

For more than 25 years, top international scientists have studied the anti-inflammatory effects of active hydrogen water. Our bodies are fueled by hydrogen – from water we drink and carbohydrates we eat – to form ATP, which supplies energy to our cells and promotes healing. Our novel way of restructuring ultra-pure water makes the most beneficial form of hydrogen accessible for our bodies to absorb, either by drinking or cleansing with the Water to promote optimum skin beauty. That is why Watt-Ahh® provides superior hydration, detoxification and energy and reduces premature aging caused by inflammation.

How much Watt-Ahh® should you drink daily to help detoxify your body and reduce inflammation? We recommend at least one serving (8oz) of Watt-Ahh® per average‐sized person, daily. For purposes of superior hydration and detoxification, AquaNew recommends one to two 16.9 oz. bottles of Watt-Ahh® each day as part of your normal daily water intake.*

Want to unlock your body’s natural healing ability? Drink more Watt-Ahh® !

* Leading water experts recommend that we drink liquids equivalent to 50% of our weight in ounces each day (i.e. a 100-lb. child should drink 50 ounces/day). These same experts recommend drinking the purest water that you can obtain for good health, and there is no comparison in the purity of Watt-Ahh® available on the market.

When Suzanne Collins wrote her book The Hunger Games, her depiction of the future Panem – a world focused on self-preservation due to lack of food and clean drinking water – may not be as fictional as we’d like to believe. The New York Times Best-Selling novel is now quickly becoming one of the top-grossing movies this year. In it, the story addresses what happens when a world is fraught with natural disasters, drought, storms and global warming. As part of Panem’s “peace” treaty, young adults between the ages of 12 and 18 are called upon to be Tributes in a fight to the death.

AquaNew, the founder of Watt-Ahh®, has a different mission. You can go without food for a couple of weeks; however, life extinguishes within days without clean water. We’d rather offer you Thirst Games – where our Tributes fight for immediate life survival that unfortunately is occurring throughout the world today.

Here is the frightening truth:

By 2025, 800 million people will be living in regions of the world where water is scarce, and two-thirds of the world population is predicted to live under these stress conditions as a result.

1.1 billion people (approximately one-sixth of the world’s population) have no access to safe drinking water.

2.2 million people, living in developing countries (primarily children), die each year from diseases related to lack of access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene.

Half of the world’s hospital beds are filled with people suffering from water-related illnesses.

The average distance that women in Africa andAsiahave to walk to collect water is three miles, and tens of millions of children cannot go to school because they must fetch water for their families on a daily basis.

An estimated 6,000 children die each day from diseases related to a lack of clean water.*

The water we drink today is the same water the dinosaurs drank. There is no new water.

What is Thirst Games? AquaNew is committed to producing and distributing its life-giving Watt-Ahh® on a global scale and educating people through environmental and social awareness. Now, through May 30, 2012, AquaNew® invites youth ages 12 to 18 to be voluntary Tributes in Thirst Games, a challenge to provide ideas for worldwide change.

Rules: Submit your conservation or fundraising ideas (or tell us about one you’ve already done) in 800 words or fewer for a chance to win. The winner will receive 12 bottles of Watt-Ahh® and four free movie tickets to see The Hunger Games. AquaNew® will also donate $200 to ChildHelp® in the winner’s name.

Have you participated in a volunteer project where proceeds were donated to a world organization providing clean drinking water to seriously drought-stricken areas?

Want to give people tips on keeping our rivers and lakes clean?

We want to hear about it! Email your story to: Inquiries@AquaNew.com. Winners will be announced on Facebook and on AquaNew.com no later than June 15, 2012.

The growing trend for fitness in 2012 is not a temporary fad, but rather a necessity for those individuals conscious of their outward appearance and overall health. Not so long ago, fitness was an industry “owned and operated” by professional athletes, however people of all ages are now pursuing fitness and fitness training in order to lose weight and maintain the best quality of life possible, as they grow older. The increasing numbers of retirees, who wish to maintain an active lifestyle, also drive fitness trends, putting personal fitness trainers in high demand. In fact, living a healthy lifestyle in your 60’s and beyond is becoming the “norm” for seniors, as they enjoy greater social activities, and travel opportunities.

In addition to looking and feeling better, these fitness trends also include an increasing number of health-minded individuals, who wish to be more physically powerful, in an effort to improve cardiac health and increased metabolism for an improved body structure. Because of the collective consciousness regarding physical health, the National Association for Fitness and Health http://www.physicalfitness.org predicts 2012 will be focused on the following top fitness trends:

• Personal Training by Certified and Educated Fitness Professionals
• Strength Training
• Fitness Programs for Older Adults
• Exercise with Diet for Weight Loss
• Obesity Prevention in Children
• Core Stability Training
• Group Personal Training
• Functional Fitness (weight bearing activities)
• Yoga

In the United States, our food habits have increased calorie intake from food and beverage consumption, thus resulting in weight gain and the need for more focus on nutrition and exercise. In order to lose weight and promote good health at the same time, fitness professionals are being sought out at a much greater rate, for guidance in the areas of nutrition and exercise. Childhood obesity has also come under national focus, as the US is one of the leading countries in the world with a high incidence of child obesity, which in turn relates to the ever-increasing diabetes epidemic occurring in this country.

The addition of core stability training in the 2012 fitness trends, relates to the focus on the abdominal wall, the pelvis, the lower back and the diaphragm, and its ability to stabilize the body during movements. While breathing is important to core stability of the body during moving and lifting, the diaphragm is the main muscle of breathing. Thus, the abdominal wall, pelvis and lower back are bounded to core stability. These midsection areas need more attention with simple exercises.

The most popular trend in fitness is “functional fitness,” which involves weight bearing activities, and uses physical movements including lifting, stooping and reaching. By concentrating on improved balance and coordination, functional fitness coordinates strength of body movements as well as focusing on core stability. Data source: Silicon India News – January, 2012.

In 2012, people of all ages are clearly focused on improved health and fitness, with ever-increasing options to meet this demand. It has always been known that the human body must first be properly hydrated, in order to metabolize the vitamins and nutrients found in a healthy diet. We encourage people of all ages, to seek out the most natural diet possible, as well as the purest water available, in the pursuit of good health and fitness. Watt-Ahh®, an AquaNew® Water, allows for a better uptake of vitamins and nutrients, as shown in a pilot study performed by a University. For more information, please visit: http://wateriontechnologies.com/NewsLetter/ShowNewsletter.aspx?ID=23

On behalf of the AquaNew Team, we wish everyone a healthier New Year.

Healthy Juice Choices for Children
It is challenging to make healthy food and beverage choices for our children and grandchildren. Juices seem to be a logical choice and convenient boxed juices are great for “on-the-go” families. Juice is perceived to be a healthier choice by parents when compared to that of soda. A diet with less sugar and sodium may avoid the growing trend of juvenile diabetes, obesity and other health-related ailments in our children. But wait a minute…the Chicago Tribune in December of 2011 reported the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) concern over levels of arsenic contained in apple juices on the market. According to the CT article, FDA found 23 parts per billion (ppb) of arsenic in apple juices which may adversely impact the smaller bodies of children. The EPA standards for drinking water can not exceed 10 ppb of arsenic. The FDA will be considering similar arsenic standards on juices.

In the interim, parents are currently up in arms about the high levels of arsenic found in apple juice, primarily because they had previously believed that they were giving their kids something healthy to drink, as compared to carbonated beverages or sugary drinks. Although juices do have healthy ingredients, they also have a high sugar content, which is contributing to the childhood obesity epidemic in this country. For this reason (as well as the arsenic content), the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no juice for children younger than 6 months, no more than 4-6 oz. per day of juice for children under the age of 6, and no more than 8-12 oz. for older children. Health authorities recommend that a child should drink 50% of his/her weight in oz. each day or in the case of a 30 lb. child, 15 oz. of fluid should be consumed. Parents have a dilemma on what to choose to supplement juice consumption.

One alternative to maintain the flavor of juice that children crave is to add Watt-Ahh® that internally locks in the flavor of the juice inside the water molecule thereby preserving the taste and sweetness of natural juice. The amount of Watt-Ahh® mixed with juice is an individual preference such that the flavor is retained when 30% to 50% by volume is blended into the juice. This blend is an easy modification that parents can make to insure that their kids are getting vitamins and “good stuff” from their juices. Ultra-pure Water should be used to preserve the good attributes juices and provide a longer shelf life. Also, the blend with ultra-pure water reduces the sugar and arsenic levels of juice, while extending the supply of juice at home!

Melinda–You have no idea how much this support means to us as child abuse is worse than it ever has been! The Arizona Attorney General recently called a meeting with us to lament that they have never seen anything like the number of child abuse cases in the history of this State and they know we have solutions. We do but we need money to do them and when you think that means children’s lives, that is indeed sad! Your WATT-AHH® Customers will be helping us to do that —not just here but all over the U.S. It is the same every where. BBC is doing an expose on Child Abuse in America and stating that AMERICA is the WORST Country in the world for child abuse. A sad commentary–don’t you think?

In Florida we just completed a test in the elementary schools for Childhelp’s Prevention Program, “Speak Up Be Safe”, which was tremendously successful as there were always several, or more, children afterwards that would come up and say, “This is happening to me!”. We revamped this program from Childhelp’s “Good Touch Bad Touch” to include Internet bullying, bullying in schools and Internet safety!

We are so proud of our wonderful WATT-AHH® for stepping up to the plate to make a difference— that difference is literally SAVING a child’s life from abuse and possibly death. I am so proud of you particularly, Melinda, for leading the charge.

God Bless You, Sara

Our holistic friends, Suzanne and Anthony Gray of Florida and Dr..Michael Margolis, D.D.S. of Arizona, introduced Watt-Ahh® to Hollywood Celebrities Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Founders of Childhelp®. They are a breathtaking example of what two capable women can accomplish, when they set their hearts and minds on a goal to help children! Since the launch of Childhelp® in 1959, this amazing organization has helped more than Three Million children suffering from abuse and neglect.

We are delighted to team up with Childhelp®, and remain inspired by Sara’s suggested tag-line for the donation campaign ~ “Help Save a Child with Every Sip of Watt-Ahh®…Consume your Karma!”.

American Heart Association Study Links Sugary Drinks to Increased Heart Disease Risk for Women

The Journal of The American Heart Association (AHA) recently published findings of a study performed on 4,000 women with ages ranging between 45 to 84 years old, who drank at least two sugar-sweetened beverages each day. The AHA reported that women who drank two sugary drinks per day are four times more likely to develop higher-than-normal levels of blood fats (triglycerides) in their blood, when compared to women who drank less than one sugary drink each day. Thus, sugar-sweetened beverages are once again on the firing line when it comes to good health. The AHA Study also confirmed that sugary drinks may increase a woman’s belly fat, which has also been linked to a number of health risks, including diabetes.

Surprisingly, the AHA Study confirmed that the risks of heart disease are even higher in women who didn’t gain weight during the study period. Based upon this information, Christina Shay, PhD., an assistant professor of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK stated “…many people assume that drinking a lot of sugary beverages leads to obesity, and that drives up heart risks…Although that may occur, weight gain doesn’t explain the increased risk of heart disease associated with sugary beverages in this Study.”

The Sarasota-based company, AquaNew, manufacturer of Watt-Ahh®, an AquaNew® Water, continues to advocate the need for healthier beverage choices for all women, in order to be proactive in minimizing the risks for heart disease (which remains the leading cause of death in the United States, particularly in women aged 65 or older). One health-wise tip is to blend Watt-Ahh® into a half of a bottle of a sugary beverage to maintain great flavor and reduce the amount of sugar consumption and caloric intake.

2011 Key West Super Boat World Championship
In Memory of Big Thunder 100 and Page Motorsports 31
Deadly Passion

Only tough competitors taking risks are successful in the extreme sport of Offshore Powerboat Racing. Their passion for the sport while speeding on the edge between water and air, can sadly turn fatal. Three seasoned racers, Robert Morgan, Jeffrey Tillman, and our home-town resident, Joey Gratton of Sarasota, Florida, lost their lives during the 2011 Race Week in Key West, Florida.

Emergency response divers launched from helicopters and patrol boats have extracted racers from capsized boats without any fatality since the mid-1980’s. Unfortunately, deployed medical care could not overcome the trauma of the two boat accidents this year.

Morgan, Tillman and Gratton had families and were members of the close-knit Professional Racing Family. They were greatly admired by fellow racers for their respective skill, sportsmanship, zest for life, and willingness to give their best for race fans. The race team members gathered for memorials at the pit, and placed memorial stickers of “100” and “31” on their respective boats. Poker Run boat owners showed their condolences by coming out in their boats between the races on Sunday. Stihl and Motley Crew boats, huge competitors in the same Super Cat Class, completed three circuits in memory of the three fallen racers on the final race day. The Human Factor overpowered the mighty power boats for the 2011 Race Week.

Watt-Ahh® has been a super sponsor for one of the competing race boats for three consecutive seasons. We admired the tenacity of the Gasse Team in working overnight to patch a severely cracked transom and they were able to complete the final race the next day. We were saddened to see the demolished canopy of Warpaint but it is a blessing that their team came back without permanent physical injury from the accident. We delighted in witnessing the smooth and fast-running Cintron boat, fresh from engine replacement done in the pit, to advance from fourth place to become the Superboat Unlimited World Champion on Sunday.

Key West 2011 will be long remembered by the brave racers doing what they loved best and their families and crew who supported their passion for racing.

When we first met Dr. Jaime Gonzalez, (and his charming wife, Susan Blake Gonzalez), we were thrilled to find that they combine alternative modalities together with conventional medicine in caring for, (and restoring the health and wellness of), the myriad of patients at their veterinary practice, Bear Creek Veterinary Alternatives.

Dr. Gonzalez was introduced to Watt-Ahh® more than a year ago, and since that time he has tracked Watt-Ahh®’s ongoing testing, Studies, and Clinical information which has been forthcoming from labs and Universities, while sharing the properties of Watt-Ahh® with his furry patients. Patients may receive direction from Dr. Gonzalez to add Watt-Ahh® to their pet’s diet, to assist in detoxification, or to help resolve conditions which relate to improper absorption of vitamins and nutrients. In fact, Dr Jaime Gonzalez notes, “My patients seem to respond to the homeopathy treatments quicker when using Watt-Ahh® in our custom-made homotox preparations.” Dr. Gonzalez also understands the importance of proper hydration (for humans, as well as animals).

Dr. Gonzalez has provided exceptional care for animals, for more than 22 years, both as a small animal veterinarian, as well as having worked with two Veterinary Specialty Practices in Chicago. People who know “Dr. G,” are well aware of his deep Native American spiritual beliefs, and understand his passion for Holistic Medicine.
