(Part 5) New Modality for Respiratory Devices

wit.4cell1215Inventor Rob Gourley continues to refine his design and build prototype devices for remote areas. His most recent one is a four-cell that circulates electrolyte solution through the cells without any electrical pump that may break. He also reduced the weight for this bedside device such that the cells are not immersed in the electrolyte solution. The device is designed to operate using either a car battery or from solar power when electricity is not available at the clinic. It also is adaptable for lung capacity volume used by either infants or adults. A video of Rob and his four-cell prototype can be viewed HERE.

Gourley expressed optimism for the New Year. “I think 2016 will be a breakthrough year in getting traction for this nature-based innovation to help others with a dire, life-threatening need.”
