A Letter from ChildHelp (re: the Super Boat Grand Prix and Race Week)

We received a beautiful letter from Childhelp® about the efforts of both AquaNew and REDS Offshore Racing in helping spread awareness about child abuse issues. AquaNew is also committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle of Watt-Ahh® to Childhelp. If you’d like to contact them directly to make a donation, please visit Childhelp.org.

A Personal Note from Childhelp Founders Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson

Help thy brother’s boat across, and Lo! Thine own has reached the shore.

Wishing you all a terrific day!

We wanted to send a quick note to thank each of you for making wonderful waves on behalf of the children of Childhelp. Placing the Childhelp logo on a racing boat brings our mission to a new audience and reminds sports spectators of our little ones during these difficult days. When we all keep our oars in the water and row in the same direction, it makes the journey twice as sweet.

As child abuse cases rise while funding plummets, we are desperate to share the stories of the little ones in our care and hopeful that helping hearts will step forward to support our critical cause. Your voices in the media are so meaningful as well. Just a few days ago Michael Reagan mentioned 1-800-4-A-CHILD during a CNN interview and our Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline lit up with calls all night. A word of hope to a desperate soul is all it takes to immediately impact lives.

We send our best blessings to our dear friends and supporters at Watt-Ahh as well as the kind racing team speeding our message through troubled waters and throwing our boys and girls the life preservers they need to be rescued. With a little more love like you have shared, the futures of our children will be smooth sailing!

For the love of a child,
