August 31, 2024 — We all have busy lives and sometimes, we want to treat ourselves. It can be uplifting to grab a snack while waiting in the grocery store line to checkout. But it may not be totally satisfying (or the best health choice).
There is a Sarasota health clinic with numerous health-related products from massage beds to supplements that may be on the pricey side. The receptionist if she noticed a patient looking a little perplex would say … “how about doing something good for yourself today and purchase a $3 bottle of Watt-Ahh”.
Well, on a major health side and it is admittedly expensive, I recently jumped into having a dentist relax the muscles of my jaw using a sophisticated TENS machine. It is an electrical bonging on both sides of my jaw while I watched an exotic travel video for about an hour. After the realignment, the dentist did selective teeth shaving of the enamel to allow the upper and lower teeth to cradle together when I close my mouth. Before doing this holistic treatment, the dentist examined x-rays, showed me video of each tooth and tested the strength of my gums. There were no cavities, decay or gum degeneration occurring in my mouth that could explain the pain I had been experiencing off and on since the beginning of the New Year. Two weeks before the appointment, the pain intensified during nighttime and I started to take an overnight aspirin product to alleviate the pain. The dentist did mention that my gums were in good condition and she wondered aloud that maybe Watt-Ahh helped my gums not show their age.
Using carbon paper strips while I grind my teeth, the dentist told me about the TENS process that may ease my symptoms (likely with a mouth guard at night). After the TENS, it is remarkable that I do not awake at night with gum pain and I am not crunching down hard on my tongue at night … ouch! Also, I am not experiencing regular headaches when I get up. The back of my front teeth are not being rubbed by my lower teeth.
I wanted to share with you the major investment that I made in my own health and wish the process was more affordable for everyone who experience jaw-related pain. The dentist told me halfway through the bonging time while I was hooked up to the TENS machine that most persons decide not to do this process, assuming it is too expensive.
Each day, we make so many decisions about our personal health and unfortunately, economics may sway our health decisions. Sometimes we might procrastinate in seeking reliable advice. Going to the dentist, for instance, is not considered a fun time. We do need to be open to and trust other persons’ experiences and recommendations to learn something new in our own health-related adventure. This generous sharing of knowledge from our customers is the foundation of Rob and my own learning about the huge number of health-related uses for Watt-Ahh.
