January 12, 2026 – For the first time last week, I visited a true wellness oasis right here in Sarasota, FL. As it can happen the experience came about through a bit of karma: after I mixed up a recent Watt-Ahh order placed by owner Dianna Mangooian. When I dashed in with a couple of cases of Watt-Ahh, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with her in person—after years of communicating only through electronic orders.
From the moment I stepped inside Salt of the Earth, I was struck by the thoughtful curation of products in Dianna’s front store. She offers specialty health and wellness items sourced from around the world—she told me that she personally tests each one before it ever reaches her shelves. Bottles of Watt-Ahh are also available for sale in a small cooler within the store.
The heart of the experience, however, lies in the salt therapy itself – relaxing in a calm, serene environment while the body absorbs aerial micro-particles of salt. The salt room creates a microclimate reminiscent of a seaside retreat, enhanced with both light and music therapies.
Additional devices are available for skin rejuvenation, and whole-body balance, harmony and cleansing – that aid with muscle relaxation, improved sleep, reduced inflammation, detoxification, increased blood circulation, and support chronic pain relief.
Despite its tranquil interior, the clinic and store are conveniently located on one of Sarasota’s busiest thoroughfares, within the Expo on Clark Road Shopping Center.
