June 24, 2025 – It is a hot and humid summer nationwide and the resilient bacteria (Staph MRSA) can cause inflammation that can be life-threatening to our pets. These are infections that are resistant to antibiotic treatments and can linger for weeks and much longer. “Super hot spots” as we call them in this article, are not the same as occasional hot spots (acute moist dermatitis) that can manifest from mosquito bites, excessive licking/chewing or allergies and with the correct treatment, will eventually alleviate the irritation.
Through the years, we have received “turn-around” testimonials on combating Staph MRSA infections in dogs. After weeks of antibiotic treatments and as a last resort, Watt-Ahh was used by either by spraying onto the infected wounds, applying a custom-made topical preparation with Watt-Ahh as an ingredient, drinking Watt-Ahh with oral herbs added or a combination of all. Within days the wounds start to heal. The after photo along with the customer’s testimonial are provided below which is one of the first cases years ago and the Watt-Ahh treatment was successful in saving the dog from the vet having to amputate the leg:
“My dog, Diesel, sustained bite injuries which we thought were the result of a snake, spider, or some other insect, which caused swelling and infection to take place in Diesel’s leg. As time went on, the ‘bite’ area became more swollen and infected, however, a friend told me about Watt-Ahh that he had used to soak and wrap his dog’s injured leg, and he recommended that I try this. I did as my friend suggested, and within two days, Diesel’s leg began to heal, with reduced swelling. I have provided photographs of Diesel’s injury area, after two days of treating with a dressing soaked in Watt-Ahh. I’m thankful to have been told about this Water, and I’m sure Diesel is too!” Michael K. of Florida
A more recent case comes from Dr. April Brader, Doctor of Oriental Medicine of Healthy Pathways who treated Reeces, a 14-year dog suffering from multiple Staph MRSA infected wounds throughout his body including on his belly and tail. Dr. Brader states … “The owners spent $20,000 at the vet’s with three operations and he has been on antibiotics for TWO years.” She continues … “Only 1 week on my oral herbs, heal his gut and use a topical preparation. I fully expect the wounds to completely heal up.” She provided the before photos above, near the title of this article (dated September 16, 2023) and the after photo below (dated twelve days later on September 29, 2023).
