June 9, 2026 – For the Year 2026, we continue to celebrate the United States’ 250-year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Pursuit of Happiness is a famous clause as one of the unalienable rights of all People.
Beyond Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, we would recommend to our Founding Fathers another unalienable right of … “the Pursuit of Hydration”. As we all know, hydration is the essential for life … it is also inherent and absolute and no one should be ever denied drinking water.
The U.S. Declaration of Independence does not mention the word “water”. Twelve years later, the U.S. Constitution mentions water only once under the Commerce Clause and subsequently, the federal courts through the years have expanded the interpretation to give power to U.S. Congress on the authority over interstate waterways, flood control and navigation. The landmark 1972 Clean Water Act uses Congress’ constitutional power to protect the nation’s waterways from pollution and regulate water quality standards including those for safe drinking water.
We raise our bottles of clean water to salute our great Country and its milestone for protecting many of our Freedoms including the Pursuit of Hydration.
