Defeat Ageism – Stay Active and Love!

Conference on Positive Aging
Kay Van Norman, Founder of Brilliant Aging, was one of dozens of prestigious speakers at the 2014 Positive Aging Conference held in Sarasota, Florida this past week. The title of her speech –Running with Scissors: Activating Ageless – was intriguing. Van Norman showed us statistics that strength can be recovered with exercise. She even chastised her large “never-over-the-hill” audience for using the excuse, “Well, it must have been a Senior Moment!

Van Norman told us that every morning, she reminds her teenage son about three things: lunch, homework, and sneakers for after-school sports. He inevitably forgets one of them. She turned to her audience and said, “No one is thinking about doing a mental exam on him!”

At the AquaNew/Watt-Ahh® exhibit, we met so many positive, zestful people from many places around the World, including authors, healthcare professionals, career counselors, and people with informative, open minds. We polled some of them on their favorite tips for Positive Aging, as well as our own customers, prior to the conference. Here is a sample of what was said:

“Be Active. Stay Active.”

“Find Reasons to Giggle Everyday, and You Will Surely Stay Young at Heart.”

“Give of Yourself and Get Healthy in Return.”

“Remember, Your Brain Runs the Show. Invest in It Wisely!”

“Just Keep Moving and Giving of Your Talents.”

“Technology Matters! Learn About How It Can Help.”

We also appreciated positive feedback from our customers on Watt-Ahh® as their secret to energy, better health and visual clarity. Several of the conference attendees wondered why they were feeling better as they picked up another bottle of the good stuff to drink!

Thank You to the Institute for the Ages and Dr. Douglas Nelson

positive aging conference with Kay Van Norman and Dr. Douglas Nelson, D.O.

Thank you to Tom Esselman, Susan Jackewicz, Michelle Bauer, Bob Leonard, Susan Stone, and so many volunteers who made the Positive Aging Conference this month such a huge success. We need to bottle the central message from the Conference – people of all ages can continue to have the enthusiasm, passion, and hope for the continuance of meaningful lives. Technology was showcased at the conference, ranging from new designs for kitchens to medical breakthroughs, which will provide the convenience, security, and wellbeing for this to happen in our own lifetime.

We also extend our greatest appreciation to Dr. Douglas Nelson whom, for several years, has offered our Technology to his patients at the Lio Mission Clinic located in St. Petersburg, Florida. He cleared his busy schedule for the day and joined us at the AquaNew/Watt-Ahh® exhibit during the conference. Dr. Douglas talked with a number of attendees and was overheard saying (several times), “The Water will help the body heal anything that ails you.”
