For the 2011 Holiday Season, WIT International, LLC has decorated the “Tree of Innovation” on display within the wonderland of dozens of decorated trees during the 15th Annual Festival of Trees at the Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida. Our Tree celebrates the inspired entrepreneurial life of Powel Crosley who contributed to the many inventions that we take for granted in our daily lives:

  • Radio Station WLW (70 on dial)
  • Affordable radios
  •  Soap operas
  • Cincinnati Reds baseball team
  • Fax machines
  • Portable coolers
  • Radios in airplanes
  • Shelves inside refrigerator doors
  • Crosley sports cars
  • Disc brakes
  • And numerous other inventions

Check out the LED-lit antique radio tubes hanging on the “Tree of Innovation” thanks to WIT Project Engineer Matt Mossman.

The museum located on the second floor of the Estate will be open during the Festival that displays antique radios and other Crosley inventions.  Rare antique Crosley automobiles will be exhibited on the back lawn of the estate adjacent to Sarasota Bay.  Also, the historic Carriage House will be open to the public for the first time at the Festival.

We appreciate our customers that support our businesses throughout the year and we hope you will have the opportunity to visit the Festival of Trees with your family and friends.  Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season.
