Meet AquaNew Co-inventor and Founder: Robinson B. Gourley Jr.

rob gourley avatarRobinson (“Rob”) B. Gourley has a good sense of humor and laughs when asked about AquaNew’s website introduction. His digitized character walks through a thunder storm talking in his voice about the atomic change to water. “It originated from a long scientific interview.” Rob said. “The videographer became bored in editing and created this ‘Avatar’ figure of me – which is hilarious!”

Rob was adopted into a family with a rich legacy of inventors in upper State New York. The family businesses included Syracuse China, which produced everything from durable restaurant china to vitreous fine china, and Pass & Seymour, which made electrical porcelain insulators that improve the safety of electric power transmissions. There was also the work of his paternal grandfather, who owned a lumberyard in Highland Park, Illinois. The lumberyard was one of Rob’s favorite playgrounds.

His father, Robinson B. Gourley Sr., was an electrical engineer who instilled in Rob at a young age to question everything and “don’t assume others know the answer.”

Rob is always open to the world of possibilities. He has experienced firsthand the extremes of water and ice, whether keeping power systems going for the survival of Arctic work crews or maintaining a professional super boat that races across the Gulf of Mexico over 100 mph.

Off and on for the last 30 years, Gourley has worked on water ion technologies that have applications in the energy and health-related fields.  He coordinates with world-renown scientists on a restructured water that was discovered in his workshop.  This Water is now on the market under the brand name of Watt-Ahh® (an AquaNew® Water). People who have been drinking the water, or using it topically, have reported noticing various health benefits, including greater mental clarity, more energy and quicker recovery from burns or insect bites.dana and rob gourley

Meanwhile, back in his lab, Gourley tells us: “We’re getting very close to figuring it out. We know the water does work; but until further research is done, we don’t know completely why it works.”  So far, findings from leading universities and other studies, performed by highly-respected laboratories and independent scientists, seem to agree.

Currently, Rob Gourley is driven to get his healthy Watt-Ahh® to Veteran Administration’s hospitals, burn centers and eventually, to the entire world. “We discovered from one of our customers that three gallons of Watt-Ahh® added to a dirty koi pond purified it for use.” He told us.  “Imagine what would happen if we could use it to help Diphtheria victims in Haiti by adding it their existing water.”

His goals are many: 1) Get people healthy. 2) Hydrate topical wounds to alleviate pain and promote better healing. 3) Use Watt-Ahh® in agriculture (for faster plant growth and heartier animals).  4) Use the water ion gas itself (named “SG Gas”) as an alternative energy source.

Rob lives with his wife, Dana Gourley, inSarasota,Florida. They are a 24/7 couple who work together on the AquaNew and water ion technology businesses.
