Health and Beauty Tips from Our Winners:

unnamed-1

Danielle: “I spritz with Watt-Ahh® before my ‘daily dose of D’ from natural sunlight. Just 5-10 minutes (until your skin starts to turn pink) is enough. However, your skin needs to be unprotected. I use Watt-Ahh® to stay hydrated. Proper hydration has been shown to help prevent sun damage to your skin.”

CindyPicSunglassesCindy: “For a natural detoxifying bath, fill your tub with as warm a water as is comfortable. Add up to 3 cups of Epsom salts, 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup sea salt and a few drops of essential oils (e.g. lavender). Soak until the water cools. Do this once to twice a week.”

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALisa: “A small travel size spray bottle of Watt-Ahh® is allowed by airlines. It is great to use in flight on your face and arms. Very refreshing!”

delphine headshot3Delphine: “With the Florida heat, keeping my hair healthy is important. I love to add drops of Citrus Fresh, ylang ylang, frankincense and sandalwood to a cup of water and then into a glass spray bottle. Lightens most hair colors, but for me, it adds highlights. While spritzing, I am drinking water with lemon on and off to keep me hydrated and alkaline.”

Judy: “For a healthy smoothie –  in my blender, I add: 2 cups Simply Hemp milk, 1 cup of organic plain yogurt, 1 cup of organic blueberries, 1 banana, 1-3 scoops of a powdered shake mix (e.g. Vegan Smart or Shakley’s 180), 1-3 scoops of green powder (e.g. Dr. Mercola’s Organic Greens), 1 cup of green juice (e.g. Suja Essentials or Organic Might Greens), 1 cup of Watt-Ahh® and 1 cup of coconut water.”
