About AquaNew and Watt-Ahh®

Who is AquaNew?

AquaNew, LLC is a Florida-based company that discovered a patent-pending new science for making Polarized Water. Our first product, a premium 100% ultra-pure bottled water named Watt-Ahh® an AquaNew® Water, was launched in the U.S. commercial market in November of 2007.

What makes Watt-Ahh® different from other bottled water?

We now have physical evidence from credible experts that Watt-Ahh® is a new crystalline-type structure carrying additional electrons. It is a unique stable structure that defends and protects against outside energy forces such as an operating computer in an office, which can degrade the benefits of other structured waters. Watt-Ahh® is what we call “Polarized” meaning it is 100% pure water with a stable structure. The unique stable structure preserves its optimum health benefits for you when you drink Watt-Ahh®.

AquaNew has the worldwide exclusive WIT Technology license used to manufacture Polarized Water for non-medical consumable products. Dioxytetrahydride Gas (water gas) is infused into ultra-pure water to make Watt-Ahh®. The stability of Dioxytetrahydride Gas infused in water was granted a utility patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The unique stable structure preserves its optimum health benefits for you when you drink Watt-Ahh®.

Watt-Ahh® is effective in providing Natural Energy at the cellular level: after all, healing requires energy. It works with the mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of the cells. There is neither caffeine nor sugars typically found in energy drinks, nor low concentrations of a drug stimulant, which may be found in certain well-known energy shots. Such additives are intended to trick our brains into feeling a temporary and artificially high energy level. AquaNew’s Watt-Ahh® is real, sustainable Natural Energy at the cellular level, and avoids the adverse side effects of caffeine and sugar swings. Watt-Ahh® is Natural Energy for Smart Brains.

How was AquaNew’s Watt-Ahh® named?

We originally created the hyphenated name Watt-Ahh® to represent the delicate relationship between Watts and Amps which create the novel process used to form the beneficial structure of Watt-Ahh®.

We also learned that Ninjas used the word "Wattahh" as their reverent name for special water. Even Bruce Lee yelled "Wattahh!" during his kicks; we thought we had discovered a special name that could encompass the power that is Watt-Ahh®!

How is Watt-Ahh® made?

AquaNew’s Watt-Ahh® is 100% ultra-pure water, which begins as clean base water and undergoes five stages of purification. It is restructured for greater health benefits by a novel electromagnetic polarization process that creates a special “water-based gas”. The “water-based gas” or what we call Dioxytetrahydride Gas (a.k.a., “SG Gas”) is infused into ultra-pure water as the final stage of purification. We call this process "Polarization" to create our premium drinking water in a stable crystalline-like structure of two water molecules (H4O2) enriched with electrons. In April of 2019, the USPTO issued a utility patent on the stability of Dioxytetrahydride Gas in water.

Once converted, Watt-Ahh® will not "revert back" and will maintain its properties, regardless of storage, freezing or boiling. Watt-Ahh® tastes crisp and refreshing, with properties unlike any other bottled water on the market today. We encourage you to review the testimonials provided on our Testimonials page of this website in order to fully understand the amazing capabilities of this Water.

Should I drink all of Watt-Ahh® in the bottle as soon as the cap is unsealed?

It is fine to sip throughout the day … making Watt-Ahh® distinctly different from other structured water products available on the market. Watt-Ahh® is a stable crystalline-like structure (essentially a double water molecule such that the two oxygen are covalently bonded and four hydrogen are associated with the O2 or "Dioxytetrahydride Gas" as discussed above along with a U.S. patent on its stability). It is fine to sip from the bottle and recap it to drink later in the day (or certainly more days thereafter). However, it is always advisable to store any unsealed bottle of any consumable product in a refrigerator. We tested Watt-Ahh® produced over seven years ago, samples taken both from unsealed bottles stored within our climate-controlled offices and from a spray bottle kept on a sunny liani (or screened porch) in Florida. All samples still had the stable and active liquid crystal structure that is distinctly Watt-Ahh®.

Do you have a mission statement?

What is the optimum pH for drinking water?

The pH of pure water including Watt-Ahh®, is within the range between low and mid 7.0. Please be aware that the simple use of litmus paper that measures free hydrogen, will not accurately measure the pH of any water exposed to air. The most accurate pH readings of any solution can result from titration in a laboratory setting.

Mineral deposits that are suspended in water are what cause a change in the pH. According to Scientists at the US Department of Energy (DOE), Molecular Biology Archive, normal blood pH is about 7.35. If blood pH is lower than 7.0 or higher than 8.0 it may cause severe medical complications. DOE indicates severe upset in blood pH (<7.25), causes disturbances in the body, which can lead to renal failure. Acidosis may occur with blood pH below 7.0 that can cause a coma.

For the other extreme, alkalosis causes the heart to beat too fast and can cause a heart attack. No one should attempt to adjust blood pH with a liquid product including bottled water, since it gets into the blood stream too fast, gives a quick boost of energy because the heart is beating faster and can cause heart damage or stroke. This is what happens when a snake bites someone; the venom is alkaline. A small amount of alkaline water will neither harm the human body nor improve health. Alkaloids in fresh vegetables and juices, safely boosts blood pH.

According to the DOE, there are a series of buffers which help the plasma resist any change in pH. Some of them include: the hemoglobin in the red blood cells, other plasma proteins, the bicarbonate buffer and the phosphate buffer. Many physiological processes influence the pH, but one of the largest contributors is the CO2 content of the blood. Watt-Ahh® as pure water, is optimum and compatible for normal blood pH and serves to detoxify the body including removal of CO2, to assist in maintaining a healthy blood pH.

Is ORP relevant to pure water?

ORP is simply a measure of millivolts in a solution that reflect the potential for Redox reactions when the solution comes in contact with another substance. Redox is a well-known chemical term that stands for reduction - oxidation reactions or to make it simple, a positive or negative reaction. A negative ORP reading indicates it will promote bacterial growth and a positive ORP reading indicates it will prevent bacterial growth. Both characteristics are needed when dealing with water. For example, when we are dealing with wastewater, such as sewage, we want to promote the growth of bacteria; therefore, we want a negative ORP reading. On the other hand, when we are dealing with drinking water we want to prevent bacteria growth; therefore, we want a positive ORP reading. ORP measurements have become the standard test for municipal water suppliers in recent years and have replaced tests such as chlorine and pH, due to increased accuracy involved in an ORP reading. In response to this question, a positive ORP reading is relevant for Watt-Ahh® pure water which verifies its clean, anti-bacterial properties.

You say that Watt-Ahh® is "highly purified." What does that mean?

Many bottled water products on the market contain more than 100 ppm of dissolved solids in their water. The total dissolved solids in Watt-Ahh® is <1ppm. Watt-Ahh® was tested by nationally recognized labs and universities in Texas and Florida using the EPA protocols: metals, pesticides and PCB’s in water, chlorinated acid in water, total phenols and toxicity. Routine testing at the water plant is also implemented. Our parameters easily meet the FDA standards for drinking water.

Is Watt-Ahh® an electrolyte water?

No. Instead Watt-Ahh® is enriched with electrons associated with a stable crystalline-like structure of a double water molecule (H4O2).

Does water need to contain minerals (electrolytes), in order to be beneficial to the body?

No. In fact, since we are able to fully metabolize the vitamins and minerals contained in the foods we eat, we would never need minerals or supplements in our water, or to ingest supplements in pill or powder form. Simply stated, most waters contain dissolved solids, which inhibit absorption in the body (the impurity of the water precludes it from passing through the membrane of organs), thus keeping important vitamins and minerals from being absorbed into the body. However, the ultra pure and polarized nature of Watt-Ahh® immediately penetrates the cellular membranes of organs, and will allow for more complete absorption of vitamins and minerals in foods, thus promoting good metabolism and efficient immune function.

In addition to hindering metabolism, supplements in certain bottled waters may not be in a chelated or in a “food form” to allow the enzymes of the body to break these elements down for absorption. Non-food form supplements contained in certain bottled water products may become a toxic sludge in the body or worse yet, non-water soluble substances that adversely affect the kidneys. Bottled waters with mineral supplements typically do not use the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommended daily levels or percentages as they appear on the labels of vitamins. Individuals, who drink Watt-Ahh® with their vitamins (pill, liquid or powder form), make the deliberate choice of knowing the type and amount of each nutrient going into their bodies. Again, Watt-Ahh® also enhances the efficiency of absorption of nutrients contained in our vitamins and food for better metabolism and greater energy.

What is Deuterium-depleted water?

Deuterium is a non-radioactive stable isotope of Hydrogen. Deuterium has one proton and one neutron while the more common isotope of hydrogen (Protium) has only a single proton (no neutron). Oxygen that is in both the air we breathe and water we drink can have between 8 and 10 neutrons per atom of oxygen. Some representatives of clinics that promise Deuterium depletion in the human body recommend changes in diet, breathing deeply and drinking "Deuterium-depleted" water.

We are concerned that “Deuterium-depleted” water could become the next marketing rage in bottled water without scientific support. Deuterium occurs naturally in soil, water and air. We could not find any process, except for x-ray diffraction performed in a laboratory, to completely remove the neutron and make hydrogen in water completely free from Deuterium … that is the reason for the term “depleted” or somewhat a reduction in Deuterium. It is also a stretch for us to understand the premise of heating and condensing water multiple times will result in depleting any Deuterium (removing the neutron) in water.

In researching this topic, we talked with a couple of lab techs. (one from a private lab and a second from a university lab that measures the hydrogen-related isotopes in our environment). We also talked with a water quality official of a major municipal water supply. Since Deuterium is a stable non-radioactive isotope of hydrogen, the EPA Safe Drinking Standards do not require testing for Deuterium in potable water. The university lab tech. told us that most municipal water samples that he has tested typically measure about 2 ppm of Deuterium in drinking water.

As mentioned above, a single oxygen can have eight or more neutrons when compared to that of a single Deuterium (one neutron). The more common Hydrogen isotope (Protium) has the lightest atomic weight of any other element on the Periodic Table. Deuterium with a single neutron has an atomic weight less than half of that of Helium. Helium has the smallest atomic radius since its two neutrons pull on its other electrons. Considering the nano weight of subatomic particles including a single neutron in Deuterium, it seems inappropriate to say Deuterium water is "heavy water".

We viewed several YouTube videos such that some individuals state the weight of Deuterium “breaks” the Krebs Cycle and consequently, causes cellular mitochondria to malfunction in production of ATP. It seems inconceivable that the atomic weight of Deuterium (2) will cause such an adverse effect when one considers the atomic weight of the significantly greater atomic weights of carbon (12), oxygen (16) and other elements involved in the Krebs Cycle.

One doctor that we watched on a YouTube video recommended taking deeper breaths to try to deplete Deuterium in the body. However, he did not explain how the additional oxygen in the lungs will chemically react within the body to deplete Deuterium. Anyway, we think drinking Watt-Ahh, with its positive ORP (Oxidation/Reduction Potential) and liquid crystal structure, will more readily deliver oxygen to the cells.

Is "water gas" (water in its gaseous state) found in nature?

Yes. In fact, water should be a gas at room temperature. However, because of its clustering properties, it is a liquid. The leaves of trees, shrubs and other non-woody plants release the gaseous form of water back into the atmosphere, and this process is called Transpiration. Evapotranspiration is the total of Transpiration and Evaporation and is a very important part of the water cycle on the planet.

The electromagnetic process used to produce the Dioxytetrahydride Gas, another form of a water gas, is different from that produced by the plant-based water cycle described above.

Can any water be converted into Watt-Ahh®?

No. We've found that only distilled or deionized water without impurities can be used in manufacturing Watt-Ahh®. "Other waters" have impurities and sediments that impede the conversion process. Thus, we are taking the purest "base" water, for purification and conversion into the best water on the planet.

Will Watt-Ahh® "revert back" to distilled or deionized water?

No. Once converted, Watt-Ahh® will remain Watt-Ahh®. Not unlike a magnet that has been chipped - the chipped piece will never fit back into its original place and will, in fact, repel away from its original location.

How Much Watt-Ahh® to Drink

How much Watt-Ahh® should I drink daily?

We recommend at least one serving (or 8 oz) per average size person, daily. For purposes of optimum hydration and detoxification, we recommend one to two 16.9 oz. of Watt-Ahh® bottles each day. Some doctors recommend between ½ gallon and 1 full gallon (or 3.78 liters) on a daily basis for detoxification depending upon their patient’s weight and medical condition. It is fine to use other types of drinking water to achieve the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommendation of at least 8-10 cups of water per day for adults, depending upon activity levels.

Additional daily use of Watt-Ahh® is an individual decision, depending upon health condition and activity level, and may assist in purging the body's systems of unwanted contaminants. We have learned through our own experiences and testimonials from others that drinking Watt-Ahh® while taking daily vitamins and medications seems to prompt more efficient absorption of the vitamins and medications in the body. Please note that those people taking multiple medications daily, should first become aware of how their body reacts to "more efficient absorption" of medications and nutrients, which is likely to occur during the first few weeks of drinking Watt-Ahh® with their medication intake. We understand that prescription medicines prior to coming on the market are tested assuming 100% absorption by the human body to achieve FDA approval. Again, please consult with your licensed healthcare practitioner should you have any medical or health concerns including the possibility of a more efficient absorption of your medicines when drinking Watt-Ahh®. Or better yet, it may be best to avoid drinking the Water while taking your medicine and instead use it when you take nutritional supplements for optimum cellular absorption.

Should I start slow in drinking Watt-Ahh® for the first time?

Yes. For the first day or so, you can drink half a bottle or less, and recap the bottle to drink the following day. Watt-Ahh® has a stable crystalline-like structure and remains stable even after opening the sealed cap. We recommend a smaller volume on the initial days since the Water will detox and we want our customers to have optimum adjustment to the Water without experiencing detox symptoms such as a headache.

Why am I experiencing dry mouth after drinking Watt-Ahh®?

Some persons will report experiencing a dry mouth. Two mechanisms are happening: first, electrons on the outside hydrogen ring repel other water molecules from clustering and second, the Water has an electrical differential . both mechanisms make for optimum crossing of cellular membranes including faster cellular absorption on the tongue, mouth and throat. If you experience a dry mouth after drinking the Water, it is likely you were dehydrated before drinking the Water, and is a signal that you need to drink even more Water.

Can I give Watt-Ahh® to my children?

Yes. We recommend a serving (4 to 8 oz.) or more of Watt-Ahh® consumed by children, based upon their age, weight, activity levels and health for purposes of hydration and detoxification. We encourage everyone to follow the Food and Drug Administration's recommendations for water ingestion by children, as well as adults.

How long does it take to detoxify the body?

Increased levels of consumption of Watt-Ahh® may assist those with serious health problems through a faster rate of detoxification. Based on blood tests given to some chemotherapy patients, it may take approximately six weeks to detoxify the average adult body, drinking at least one bottle of Watt-Ahh® daily. Should you have any questions on assuring optimum efficiency in any medical treatment such as chemotherapy, please consult your medical provider on the recommended daily volume and timing for consuming Watt-Ahh® (e.g., before, during and after chemotherapy).

Are there any side effects from detoxification?

On occasion, we hear back from first-time customers wondering why they experienced a temporary headache during the initial days of drinking Watt-Ahh®. It may come as a surprise to them to realize that they are actually detoxifying and their headache is likely a symptom of healing. Read more about how pain can be a sign of healing.

Since we do not know how toxic an individual might be, it is recommended to start slow with a daily amount between 8 oz. and a full bottle (16.9 oz.) for the initial few days. You are the best judge on what makes you feel good and you will eventually know the optimum daily volume of Watt-Ahh® that is best for your good health.

About our Bottles

Why is Bisphenol A (BPA) used in producing certain plastic containers?

Bisphenol A is a chemical used worldwide in making the epoxy lining that coats the inside of containers holding thousands of foods and beverages. These containers include shatter-resistant bottles, reusable sports bottles and water filtration systems, which are typically made from polycarbonate plastic.

Most aluminum containers have a coating that uses BPA to avoid metallic corrosion and contamination and increase the shelf life of food and beverage products. Soda and tomato-based products are examples of acidic merchandise that affect the integrity of metal containers without such linings. All packaging components that come into contact either with food or beverages must undergo safety assessments and stringent testing to be permitted for use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory authorities. Reports from recent FDA studies suggest the possibility that BPA exposure may cause health problems, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes as well as developmental and reproductive disorders.

In 2008, Canada became the first country to ban the use of BPA in the manufacturing of baby bottles, followed by France and Denmark in 2010, the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA) in 2011 and the FDA in 2012.

Is Bisphenol A (BPA) in the plastic bottles containing Watt-Ahh®?

No. We use the best food-safe plastic made from polyethylene terephthalate (PETE1). No BPA is used in the manufacturing of PETE1 bottles.

Can the PETE1 bottles be recycled?

Yes. PETE1 bottles are highly recyclable, hygienic, break resistant and perfect for retaining the benefits of Watt-Ahh®. Look for PETE1, PET1 or 1 inside a triangular shape on the bottom of plastic bottles and other food and beverage containers for the best quality plastic. We remind our customers to recycle in order to keep our environment clean.

Can glass containers be used to bottle the Polarized Water?

No. The porous inside surface of a glass bottle will likely absorb infused Dioxytetrahydride Gas over time and the water will lose some of its polarized quality. It is fine to pour Watt-Ahh® into a glass container for drinking; however, glass is not optimum for storing Watt-Ahh® over time.

We have other concerns about the use of glass bottles including potential damage due to breaking glass and the higher cost for our product delivery to our customers including shipping since the glass will add extra weight compared to PETE1 bottles that we use.

Are plant-based bottles a better alternative?

No. Plant-based bottles (e.g., soy and corn) affect the world’s food supply and must have a dedicated industrial mulching system, separate from the recycle process of other plastics. Additionally, the manufacturers do not recommend these types of bottles to be used in containing water.

The mulching process involves high energy consumption of heat to boil the plant-based bottles for approximately two days, and then shedding and mixing into soil. Most plant-based bottles are sold to institutions and cruise lines that have mulching or high-heat processes for handling these types of bottles. Plant-based bottles have additional concerns of being less sturdy for stacking and shipping, and may have a tendency to collapse and leak. Plant-based bottles are less tolerant to heat when compared to oil-based plastic bottles and must not be placed in hot cars.

Is Watt-Ahh® more beneficial than home filtration systems?

Yes. If you care about your health, you will drink Watt-Ahh® which has greater health benefits when compared to that of filtered water. Water from home filtration systems is not polarized and does not compete with the ultra-pure quality of Watt-Ahh® that goes through a five-stage treatment. We have an exclusive five-stage purification process that transforms clean base water into Ultra-pure Water: (1) filtration, (2) reverse osmosis, (3) either deionization or vapor distillation, 4) infusion of Dioxytetrahydride Gas or “water-based gas” to bring the Water to its ultra-pure perfection (less than 1 ppm total dissolved solids and neutral 7.0 pH of pure water) and 5) final filtration prior to bottling.

We are open to a corporate partnership on the concept of offering to the market in the future, home-installed units that can produce Polarized Water upon demand.

If you decide to use a home filtration system, we recommend avoiding the purchase of units that are currently available in the big box stores, having polycarbonate (lexan) plastics that may outgas Bisphenol A (BPA).

Why do other food and beverage manufacturers inject liquid nitrogen or nitrogen gas into their products?

Nitrogen provides internal pressure inside containers for rigidity such as plastic bottles filled with noncarbonated beverages.

Is nitrogen injected into Watt-Ahh® during the bottling process?

No. Watt-Ahh® is pure water without any chemical additives.

Can fairly expensive machines that adjust the pH of Water produce water similar to Watt-Ahh®?

No. We understand that these types of machines change the pH of water by adding sodium bicarbonate or other solutions. Watt-Ahh® is ultra-pure water that has a pH of approximately 7.0. The polarization characteristic of Watt-Ahh® also cannot be replicated by such machines.

Does Watt-Ahh® come in 5-gallon size?

No, primarily because there is currently no recyclable clear PETE1 or Co-PETE gallon container manufacturer within a reasonable shipping distance of our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL. We have a number of concerns over the reusable and denser polycarbonate plastic containers. In the interim, we recommend to our customers to purchase liter–sized bottles of Watt-Ahh® to fill their own in-home water cooler unit and dispenser.

If you decide to subscribe to a 5-gallon container service offered by other companies, we recommend the following good practices to reduce the risk of contamination. The container should be sealed upon arrival to your home. Clean the neck of the container and do not hold onto the neck when placing inside the holder. The water dispenser unit needs to be kept in a cool location. When the container is empty and waiting for pickup, avoid placing in direct sun to minimize the potential for mold growing inside the container. Empty containers should only hold clean water and not be used for other purposes including storage of coins or mixing of pesticide. Please be aware that harsh chemicals may be added at the water plant for cleaning and sanitation before each container is refilled. Another consideration is the life of the polycarbonate container is limited and should be disposed of and replaced by the water distribution company.

Do you support proposed federal requirements for the water bottling industry for more complete disclosure to the customers?

Yes, contingent upon any new regulations being scientifically correct, reasonable and enforceable.

On our label references the AquaNew website that has a description of the 5–stage purification process. There are no mineral additives to Watt-Ahh®. We create and bottle the water at a water plant located in Tampa, Florida that regularly test water produced at that facility for compliance with State permitting. AquaNew, L.L.C. again welcomes any reasonable and scientifically based federal legislation that will provides full disclosure to consumers on the source and quality of the water they drink including municipal sources.

Watt-Ahh® is available at through our Online Shopping Cart and at these Fine Stores and Distributors and on Amazon.com.

Is there a minimum requirement for your free local delivery service?

Yes. There is a $31 minimum purchase requirement for free local delivery within the Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida areas.

How is Watt-Ahh® sold?

Watt-Ahh® is sold by the case in 16.9 oz. (½ liter) bottles (24 per case) and 1–liter bottles (12 per case). For more information about shipping cases of Watt–Ahh®, please visit our online store or phone 1-888-936-2782.

How/Where should I store my Watt-Ahh®?

Watt-Ahh® can be stored the same as any other bottled water. Any bottled beverage should be kept in a climate-controlled environment, preferably between 60° and 80°, since plastic can outgas at higher temperatures. Plastic bottles should never be frozen because either the bottle or cap can crack upon thawing. If a bottle gets hot, the best bet is to open the cap on the bottle and place in the refrigerator to allow for any outgassing to release (this should not affect the quality of the water, itself).

How long can I store Watt-Ahh®?

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers bottled water to have an indefinite shelf life if it's produced in accordance with regulations and remains sealed and unopened. The one or two-year expiration date from the day of bottling on most water products is voluntary on the part of water plant companies and is dependent upon policies set by their management.

We recently learned from the water plant manager that FDA prefers no expiration date stamped on the bottles to allow longer storage periods of quality bottled water for catastrophic events.

As further clarification, AquaNew, LLC, producers of Watt-Ahh®, is a private label company (only owns the purification/polarization process and does not own the water plant itself) and the expiration date stamped on our products, if any, is set by the water plant. We recommend for the longest shelf life and preservation of the highest quality, our products should be stored inside and kept in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

In April of 2013, Watt-Ahh® was tested by an independent group of researchers. The Water was stored in plastic containers for over five years, some exposed to the Florida sun each day. The unique polarizing characteristics of Watt-Ahh® were still evident in their test results. What failed was the integrity of the plastic containers such as split plastic caps that had eroded.
