Countdown on Overhaul of Big Jake Gas Machine

July 11, 2023 – O-rings within the 80 cells inside Big Jake Gas Machine recently failed and caused the DiTetra Gas pressure to suddenly drop just when Rob completed a run on making medical water last week.

The next day Rob Gourley dashed out to rent an open trailer from Home Depot and brought the large machine back from the bottling plant to WIT/AquaNew headquarters located in rural Sarasota, FL. Jason Kurtz (he boxes Watt-Ahh for online sales), Steve Browne (manages the weekly Watt-Ahh deliveries), Bob Chenard (social manager and one of our delivery drivers) and even one of Rob’s sisters, Amy, who was visiting from upper NY State and shown in the photo cleaning fasteners, all pitched in to assist Rob in cleaning the metal plates and restack the four-20 cell units with new divider plates, o-rings and lubricant and reattach the multiple electrical and magnetic connections to each cell unit. The latter two have been the biggest challenge for Rob to find materials for long-term sealing performance for both Big Jake and the smaller WIT Machines. Rob has been experimenting with different materials for two decades and thinks the next set of o-rings and lubricant will last longer in producing DiTetra Gas, which is the active “electromagnetic” power needed to make Watt-Ahh. For the new divider plates and fasteners, we extend our appreciation to Matt of Silliman Fluid Power and Vince of Visual Concepts in Plastic in fast-tracking the new materials needed for Big Jake’s overhaul.

Rob mission is to get Big Jake operating again at the bottling plant within the next 10 days. We are currently sold out of the 16.9 oz. bottles except there are a limited boxed amount left to fulfill online sales. The liters are running short too and we have temporarily suspended shipment of pallets until the fulfillment center is  restocked again. We again are taking back orders and will keep customers posted on our next upcoming production runs and when we can ship pallets again. We should have sufficient stock for local deliveries and online sales over the next couple of weeks.
